THE QUAKING EARTH.
LONG WAVES FOR 19 MINUTES. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrlehl Sydney, Juue 3. During the past three days the seismograph .at tho Observatory recorded some important shocks. Tho largest was on Juno 1. It was the most important since February. The preliminary tremor reached Sydney at four o'clock in the afternoon. The principal phase commenced five minutes 1 later, and long waves continued for nineteen minutes.
