RUSSIAN POISONING SENSATION ARRESTED COUNT. RELATED TO THE INFAMOUS TAHNOVSKA. By Telegraph-Press Assoclatlon-Copyrlihl. (Rec. Juno 3, 10.15 p.m.) St. Petersburg, June 3. A further development lias occurred in the case (cabled yesterday) of Dr. Patchenko (charged with a whole series of murders, by poison, of wealthy persons who stood in the way of relatives or heirs) and of Count Lyassy (charged with bribing Dr. Patcheiiko to poison his brother-in-law, Count Bouturlin). Madame Muravieva has been arrested on a charge of assisting Dr. Patchenko in the various cases of poisoning. Count Lyassy is a cousin of the Countess Tarnovska, v.'ho was recently sentenced to eight years' imprisonment in • Venice on •a charge of conspiring with a Russian lawyer named Prilukoff (ten years) to induce the Countess's tool jfaumoff (three years) to murder her betrothed, Count Kamarowski.
