GOLF.
The committee of the Manawatu Golf Club has decided to open its new golfhouse on the Hokowhitu links with a dance, as a sort of "house warming." A team from Danuevirko is expected to visit Palmcrston for a match on Friday, and teams from Pahiatua and Napier are expected on June 8 and 25 respectively. Mr. Allan Strang was appointed dole»a't« for tho Monawatu Club at the Golf Council meeting, to be held at Christchurch during the championship week.
