Eltham, May 23. The Governor was met here by tie Mayor and councillors and member for the district. Whilst here he visited tho Salvation Army Boys' Home.
Stratford, May 23. The Governor was forewellcd hero, tie Mayor presenting an illuminated address. 'l'he, party has gone to Huiroa.
Inglewood, May 23. His Excellency paid a farewell visit hero to-day, arriving and leaving by tho 4.15 p.m. train. Mo was received on the platform by tho Mayor and Borough Councillors.
New Plymouth, Ma£ 23. His Excellency the Governor paid his farewedl visit to New Plymouth to-day, arriving by a late afternoon train. He was accompanied by the Hon. D. Buddo (Minister far Internal Affairs), and waa met at the railway station by the Mayor and members of the Legislature, borough councillors, and others, the school cadets forming a guard of honour. This evening the Theatre Royal was crowded to excess in all paris when the public tendered a farewell. Short addresses were given by the Mayor (Mr. G. Tiseh), the Hons, T. Kelly and Oliver Samuel. M.L.C.'s, and Mr. H. Okey, M.P.
His Excellency, replied to the expressions of regret at his departure, and good wishes for lis future. During tho evening several items were given by the New Plymouth LiedertafeL The Boy Scouts formal a guard from tie' dcoT to the stage.
