Mr. M'Hugh, secretary of-tho Alberta Grain Exchange, reports that one-half of the winter wheat.in tho southern part of Alberta province has been destroyed as the result of the extremely dry weather experienced. . ARGENTINE MAIZE. London, May 12. An official estimate of tho Argentine maize harvest ib 4,450,000 tons. It is stated 'that tho grain is superior to that of 1909. PROSPERITY IN NEW SOUTH. WALES. Sydney, May 13. ■ . The annual report of the Farmers and Settlers' Association refers to tho prolific season for all staple industries, and adds: "The immediate outlook for the primary producer was never brighter." :
