Kenrick,' the English bantam-weight champion, ami Patsy Brannijran, of Pittsburg, fought ten rounds at New Orleans. Tho contest ended in a draw. . '■ ' HEAVY-WEIGHT SUPREMACY. .Writing to Mr. J. H. Trudgeon, secretary'ot the Northern Boxing Association, Jim Griffin states that ho has received information that a match will take place between Picton and Sandow- for the heavy-weight supremacy of New Zealand in July, and that he has challenged tho winner; Ho has;requested the association to arrange a match for him either before or after the match for tho New Zealand championship, ami says he is prepared to meet Joe Costa, Les O'Donnell, or MiSe Williams. Griffin, who was 29 years of age on April H, has taken part in fifty fights, and has beaten both middle and heavy-weight champions of Australasia (amateur), and .Ed. Williams, tho professional middle-weight champion of Australia.
