UNITED MISSION.

DE. HENEX AND ME,, POTTS. The story of the healing of the blind beggar, Bartimaeua, formed the groundwork of Dr. Henry's address in the Town Hall last evening. There was a very large attendance, and ministers of the Evangelical Churches supported Dr. Henry on the platform in strong numbers. The address took the form of an earnest appeal to the audiemee to make a full surrender of their.will to Christ, and it was illustrated by a variety of moving anecdotes of incidents which had come within the preacher's own experience. Mr. Potts sang a solo very pleasingly, and an. appeal was made for converts to confess their faith by standing, which resulted in a large number of silent declarations. It is stated that those who have had most to do with Dr. Henry during his stay in Wellington so far, have beefn) most impressed with his great earnestness, high aims, and power of influence. The favourable first impressions formed by local ministers have been apparently in every case confirmed, and have grown into enthusiasm in many instances. Dr. Henry will conduct a 'quiet hour" service at St. John's Church this afternoon. . .'■...
