SHOT HER HUSBAND.
A PARIS ACQUITTAL. ANOTHER TRAGIC WIDOW: JURY IN TEARS. (Ree. April 10, 5 p.m 7 ) . Paris, April 9. The Courts have acquitted Augustine Recard, a young woman, of killing her husband. She fired at her late spouse eighteen shots' with a six-chambered revolver, twice reloading her weapon. The defence was that her husband, who was of dissolute habits, threatened to murder' her and her children. The jurymen were moved to tears. They collected 95 francs and handed the money to Recard.
