Tho funeral of Father /Tyrrell, who was oxcommunicatod- by tho I'opo for his Modernist opinions, took place at Storrington, in Sussex. '
Tho Bishop of Southward (Right Rev. Dr. Amigo) refused to allowithe Jastrites of the Roman Catholic Church to be given/ as the friends who were present at Father Tyrrell's death-bed were unable to giv© an. assurance that he had expressed contrition for his teachings.'
