At the meeting of- the Shopkeepers' Association, held yesterday morning, it was deoided to take an active part in New Zealand "Industries' Week" by co-operating with the Wellington Industrial Association, as Was done last year. The chairman (Mr. H. Seaton) said that the.shops made a very creditable show indeed last year, and they hoped to do 'even better on. this occasion. The Industrial Association had fixed on the week May 12-19, which would follow close upon Industries' Week in Christohurch. The following sub-committees were appointed to wait upon the shopkeepers of the principal business streets:—Lambton Quay: Messrs. S. Ross and ,Millington. Willis Street: Messrs. H. Seaton and Wardell. Manners Street: Mr. Geo. Winder. Cuba Street: Messrs. 11.I 1 . Oakes and Patrick.
