PLAYING GROUNDS ALLOTTED.
} FOR SEASON 1909. It was deoided at last night's meeting of the City Counoil that the undermentioned applications for the use of grounds for the season 1009 be granted:—
. Newtown Park. ' "Wellington Rugby Union, one ground, Wednesday and Saturday afternoon; Wellington Football, Association', one ground, Wednesday and Saturday afternoon. Above same as last year t Practice—Tramway Football Club, every morning and afternoon, except Wednesday and Saturday; South Wellington Football Club, two mornings per week, from 7 to 9; South Wellington School, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons; Newtown School, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons; St. Patrick's College, Mondays nild Fridays; Vivian Hookey Club, Saturday afternoon until matches commence.
Kelburne Park. Wellington Hockey Association, Saturday afternoons; Victoria- College ladies' Hockey Club, practice during present season; Haeremai Ladies Hockey Club, practice during present Season; TerraM School Football Club, practice at discretion, of superintendent of reserves.
Basin Reserve. Wellington Football Association, one ground, Same aS last list season; Wellington League Australian Football, one ground, same as fast season; Wellington La Crosse Association, one ground, same as last year. Practice—Gregg Hockey Club, 12 to 2 each day; Hinemoa Hockey Club, Wednesday and Friday mornings; Y.M.C.A. Hockey Club. Tuesday and Friday mornings; Wesley Hockey Club, Tuesday and Thursday mornings; St. Mark's Girls' Hockey Club, Monday and Thursday mornings; Metropolitan Hockey Club, Tuesday and Thursday mprnings; Vivian Hockey Club, Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Anderson Park. Practice—Thornrion Hockey (Men's) Club, practice present season, Duppa Street Park (Lower). Wellington Hockey Association.
