But it seems that : a wedding cake is.not among their extravagances. A well-known Wellington resident, who. recently journeyed through the States, made special inquiry into the methods of leading caterers, .and during tho month that he spent there, he did not see a single wedding cake, all the confectioners assuring him that there was jio - demand in America for this costly adjunct to a wedding feast.
