'■ .that one 1 occasion three horses, and on another four, fell oil blocks | on Adelaide Road, one being slightly injured. This was the result of'the state of the blocks,, which wore so'slippery, especially oil the'down side of tho road from the' Fire Brigade Station to the Basin Reserve, that one could skate oik them. No tar or sand had been laid there for nearly a year, except in patches, and the state of Kent Terrace Road was 'similar. Drivers had .made strong complaints to him, and he hk'd referred them to the City Council. x A Bank balance of £62 17s. lid. was reported.
