NEW DAIRY INSPECTORS.
THIRTEEN APPOINTED. * SEVENTEEN MORE VACANCIES. Thirteen of the now army of dairy in spectors, rendered necessary by the system of dairy inspection, which Mr. E. Clifton is to organise, havo been appointed. About seventeen more havo still to bo appointed. The thirteen wore selected from l'Jl applicants, and the additional applications since received bring the total up .to about 225. The inspectors appointed will havo to. go through a course of training in the art of diagnosing. Inspectors Appointed:— W. J. Dunlop, Christchurch. F. Murray, Woodvillo. W. 0. Twentyman, Hukanui, Forty Mile Bush. Wm. Lang, Otahuhu, Auckland. J. P. Finlay, §fc. Andrews, South Canterbury. ■ J. W. Smith, tho Oaniaru factory manager of tho Taieri and Peninsula Milk Supply Co. H. Whyte, Manutahi, Taranaki, a creamery manager. H. A. Ward, Levin, dairy-farmer. Jas. Johnston, Inglewood,' Taranaki, a butter-maker and creamery manager. E. S. Wright, Blenheim, a .butter-maker and creamery manager. W. Stobie, Haweni, a crenmerv manacw. J. R. Wyborn, recently assistant dairy inspector at Dunedin. 11. Crockett, a noxious weeds inspector, New Plymouth.
