PORT NICHOLSON MOTOR BOAT CLUB.
$ : Mr. F. S. Greonshields, vice-commodore,, presjded at a mooting of the Port Nicholson Motor Boat Club on Wednesday night. It was decided to open the season oil Nov. 9 with a procossion of .motor launches, to be followed by a handicap race, tho points to count fortho Club's 'Championship Pennant. The procession will start from the Queen's Wharf at 3- ji.m.'i'; and" prcce'cd to , the.,' Glasgow Wharf, and thence round the man-o'-war Ifuoy, where the raco will start. Tho following now members wero elected:—Mes : dames Petherick, Bridger, Greonshields,' Misses Downs, Wighton (2), Messrs. G. 11. Jackson, B. Clark, E. Lowe, H. Kiiiniburgh, J. 'Palmer, S. Forbes, W. Forbes, W. Lam-' bert, D.-Keari, R. Kcan, W. Fear, T. Hannan, and F. Swan.
