"80-PEEP" PANTOMIME.
A pantomime at popular prices is promised playgoers by Messrs George Stephenson and Alt'. Linley, when McKay's Royal Pantomime Company makes its first appearance here on Thursday next. Mr Stanley McKay has made a name for himself as a producer of pantomimes, and for the past three years his company has been touring the States of the Commonwealth. For this tour a company numbering over fifty people has been brought to the Dominion, each and everyone of whom has had much experience in this class of entertainment. No expense has been spared, new costumes having been designed by the well-known theatrical costumier, Zenda, of Sydney, and new scenery painted by that well-known artist, Mr Harry Wliaite. "80-Peep" is claimed to be crammed full with catchy songs, entrancing ballets and marches, and diverting specialty acts. The dancing alone will he an attraction, for the ladies of the ballet have all been specb ally trained by Fraulein ITertlcn, a Continental dancer, specially engaged for the tour. Mr Whaite Is said to have excelled himself on the scenery, especially in the transformation scenes, "The Four Seasons" will be shown in this production.
