Messrs Reid and Henderson appeared in support of the application, and presented a petition about two yards long in favour of the application, which the Bench declined to receive. — Donald M'Donald ap-- ■>■ plied for a night license for the Royal Mail Hotel, Clinton. Mr Reid for applicant. Granted. Transfers. — F. S. Canning to John Piatt ; transfer of the license of the Balclutha Hotel ; Mr Henderson for applicant ; granted. Thomas Keenan to F. S. Canning ; transfer of the license of the Criterion Hotel, Balclutha ; Mr Henderson for applicant ; granted. George Townsend to R. E. Dagg ; transfer of the license of the Crown Hotel, Balclutha ; Mr Henderson for applicant ; granted. A. Steward' to James Dillon ; transfer of bottle license ; Mr Reid for applicant ; granted.
