Australian War Memorial To Be Built In London

SYDNEY, Dec, 23. An Australian war memorial commemorating the deeds of the fighting services and merchant navy in World War II will be erected outside Australia House in London. The cost is estimated at £25,000 and it will be borne by the Commonwealth Government. An Empire-wide contest will be conducted for a suitable design.
