But Why In Committee?
Over recent years sports bodies applying for permission to play on Sundays have come in for comment, favourable and unfavourable, at meetings of the Levin Borough Council and mucn publicity. This week, however, an application from the Levin Ladies' Bowling Ciub to use the green in the Public Gardens on Sundays was considered by the council in committee. Permission granted provided no competition games were played was the decision of the council after considerable discussion. WA'.W.V.V.WAW.WAS
