The an-' nouneement was reeeived two hours be(fore the Trusteeship Couucil was scheI duled to take up the task of trving to earry out the General Assembly's deeision for the internationalisation of the Holy City. . Despite, the Israeli announcemenU' I United Nations' Trusteeship Councii Jmet as sr-heduled today and deeided to spend the next 10 days in drafting a' statute for internationalised Jerusalem! under I nited Nations administration. Several members, ineluding 'Britain and the United States, suggested that the drafting be postpomed .until the Councii 's next session in .lanuary. The jBritish and United States represeutatives during a lengthy procedural | discussion, reminded everyone that they " were both very seeptieal about the i practieability of internationalisation. :
