ISRAELI MOVE TO HOLD THE HOLY CITY

Reeeived Wednesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 14. ' ' The Daily Telegraph's Tel Aviv correspondent reports that the Israeli Parliament has deeided to transfer the seat of Government from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The move is being made to forestall the applieation of United Nations' deeision in favour of the jnternational isation of Jerusalem. The speaker, Mr Josepli Springzak, announced that aftei the Feast of Lights ending on Decem ber -24, the sittings of Parliament would take plaee in Jerusalem whieh: was to be officially the capital of the State of Israeli. The Prime Minister, IMr Ben-Gurion tabled a resolution before Parlianienl saying that the capital of Israel had been Jerusalem for 3000 years. At the proclamation of the State of Israel in May 194S, it was stated that Tel Aviv ivas onlj' the temporarv capitai.
