Rifle Shoot At Hautere
Last Saturday on the Hautere rifle range the second round in the ohampionship series was completed. The trophy donated by Mr L. E. Monk for shoots over the 300, 500 and 600 yard ranges was won by R. L. Monk. The weather remained dull throughout the competition with a ^teady southerly wind. On the day Freeman gained the honours with j a total' of 94. The scores were as follows: — F. Freeman 47 — 47 — 94, R. L. Monk 49 — 44 — 93, L. E. Monk 48—42—90, N. S. Monk 45—45—90, B. F. Monk 45 — 45 — 90, H. A. Lumsden 45 — 45 — 90, " C. Cobb 45 — 44:— 89, H. Stowers 45 — 41 — 86, F. H. Monk 45 — 41 — 86, J. Clark 44—42—86, C. Strom 42 — 40 — 82, B. Oeange 39— 42 — 81, H. Taylor ,40 — 36 — 76 and J. Wilson 21—31-^-52. Next Saturday shooting will commence at 12.30 p.m. sharp over t'he 300 yard range.
