Weraroa had a handsome win i at the expense of Old Bovs in the Horowhenua cricket competitions on Saturday. . , With first use of the wicket Old Boys found that going too tough and were all back in the pavilion for only 71 runs. The JiigTiest score of 27 came from N. Seiascia, while G. Seiascia turned in 21. Bowling for Weraroa, K. De Castro had a day out, takmg flve of the wickets at a cost of 24 runs. O'Donnell took three for 32 and Saunders , one for 13. Ryder, with a knock of 48, Which included one six and ssven fours, was the main contnbutor towards Weraroa's total' of 198. Batting steadily, Weller made - a useful 40, while the other douhle figures scorers were Hudson (321, De Castro (24 not out) , Nicholls (25) and G. C. France (12). Four wickets fell to Juno for 59, while Hannan to.ok two for 30 and Frederikson two for 35.
