Rain Fell On Fourteen Days In November

According to statistics supplied by Mr. H. Harvey, Cambridge Styeet, Levin experienced fairly heavy rainfall during the past month. Out of the 30 days in November only 16 were without rain. Rain falling on 14 days totalled 3.14 inches, bringing the fall for the 11 months to 40.76 inches. T'he heaviest rainfall experienced in one day was p.82 inches, recorded in the middle of the month. The total rainfall during 1948 was 45.08 inches. If Levin is to equal last year's figure this year, then 4.32 inches of rain must fall during the ensuing month. One degree of frost was recorded on- November 10.
