The following are the results of three weeks' play in the Horowhenua inter-club B and C grade tennis competitions : — Played on November 12. — B grade : Levin beat Foxton by 15 sets to 1; Otaki beat Manakau by default; St. Joseph's beat Koputaroa by 12 sets to 4. Played on November 19*. — C grade: St. Joseph's beat Foxton by 11 sets to 5; Levin beat Weraroa A by 15 sets to 1; Ohau beat Weraroa B by 9 sets to 7. Played on November 26. — B grade: Levin beat Otaki by 10 sets to 6; Weraroa beat St. Joseph's by 11 sets to 5; Foxton beat Manakau by 11 sets to 5.
