Canterbury's Weather Is Hot And Dry
CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 20. Spring eontinUes hot and dry in Canterbury. Some distriets have jfi&d gOod falls of raiii in the. last few weeks but have had iio heavy rain for three months. This weekend has been warm with temperatures of 81.7 degrees on Saturday and 80*4 today. The rainfall so, far this year is nearly an iiieh and a half below the total for the same period of last year, 17.61 inches, and last year was itself unusually dry. .
