Received Monday, 9 a.m. NEW DELRI, Nov. 20. The Prime Minister, Pandit Nehru, addressing a public mqeting today, said that India's attitude towards Pakistan and ' world in general was one neither of appeasement nor of belligerehcy. | He said there were two paths— one of weakness and surrender and the other of pride and aggression. India's path lay in between the two. It was a rarrow path and following it was like walking on a razor s edge. Referring to Pakistan, Mr. Nehru said that war was no solution. The I outstanding questions should be settled by negotiation, whieh alOne would considerably reduce the tension in both Dominions. However, India would not be impressed by talk of a holy war.
