Presbyterian Sunday School Anniversary

Sunday School anniversary services were held in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church yesterday. . The service took the form of a Service of praise, the scholars of i both the primary and main Sunday Schools taking hymns and Carols they liad learned during. the year. The main/ children 's choir . was under the direction of Mr. J. Edgar and the choir of the primary Sunday School under the care of Miss E. Bland, the superintendent. Services were well attended . by parents of scholars and their friends. In his address, Rev. A. Salmond stated that a living communlty Was always under a sense of jsompulsion with regard to the entry of the oncoming generation in-to its full heritage. "Ifot by discussing Jesus Ohrist but by obeying Him is progress made in Cpristian living," said the preacher, "and not by discussing methods of teaching but by getting to work and teaching to the best of one's ability is the cause of true education forwarded. i Every Christian congregation faces
