Although many new bicycle racks have recently bten instaned there a're still a large number of cyclists whb are negiecting to use them, preferring to adopt the dangerous habit of leaving them lying on the footpath or against the verandah posts of shops. More cycle stands are planned and now . that there are alternadve placeis for bicyeles to be left it will not be long before the Bor-j-ugh Council will be insisting, by more forceful means, on the observation of the byiaws in regard to bicyeles being enforced. First, however, it would prefer to seek the ,o-operation of cyclists.
