Levin Athletes Compete At Foxton
The Foxton Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held its first meeting of the 1949-50 season last night. Most of ihe events were keenly contested, a large numbet of places beihg gained by Levin runners and cyclists. . Results of events were as follows: — Athletics. Girls under 14, 75 yards. — A. Whelan 1, R. Sanson 2, J. Norton 3. Women 'st 100 yards. — J. Nyberg 1, Mrs. Butts 2, A. Rose 3. Men's 440 yards. — J. Goodwin 1, Gardner 2, Trainor 3. Cycling. Half mile cycle. — First division: B.
