WBIiLi^GTON, iSov. 3. The waterside workers at Auckland will reeeive a direction toinorrow morning frorm their national executivo to return to normal work. The dispute over the engagement of non-union labour which reached serious propprtions oveT last week in Auckland 'will be placed before the Waterfropt Industry Commission at Wellington by the national ofiicials of the union on Monday. A similar issue was raised by the Wellington branch last week and was settled by the decision of the Commision after the hearing of the argument. The Wellington position, however, was not entirely parallej with that of Auckland, and separate submissions will be, inade on the Auckland case. The Uom niission required that the status quo on the engagement of workers be restored at Auckland before The hearing oi' the argument on the case. This the union has agreed to.
