Good Spring Month
The month of October came under the categoi*y of a really good spring month, according to recordings taken by Mr. F. H. Critchley, of Tasman Beach. The tofcal rainfall for the month was 365 points, with rain falling on 18 days, and it was particularly well spread." In October last year the rainfall was .388 points, with 15 rainy days, while this year also there was almost an absence of winds of high velocity. The highest rainfall last month was on the 14th, when 83 points were recorded, and after a cool start temperatures rose, with growth responding well as a result.
