Hautere Rifle Shoot

The annual women's day shoot was held at Hautere on Saturday over the 300, 500 and 600 yard ranges. The weather was fair but a fish tail wind made accurate shooting rather difficult. F. Free- ! man won on the day with R. L. Monk runner-up. R. J. Meagher, H. Stowers, B. F. Monk and C. Strom were third (equal) on a handicap basis. A shoot-off resulted in the third place going to B. F.
