Playing in the junior competition, College A secured an eightpoint win over Otaki B. Balting first, Otaki were dismissed for 30. College gathered runs steadilv and made a total of 101. Buckingham topped the scoring with an excellent 50, while Shee made 15. Otaki fared more fortunately in their second knock, which real«ised 60. M. Julius made a useful contribution of 37. Eight-Pointer To Kuku. Iri the other junior match Kuku scored an eight poini win over College B. Kuku batted first and made 57. The highest scorer was E. Pilgrim with 14. In the bowling Lamsden took three wickets for 17, Burnell two for 5, Geange two for 3. For College Frederikson was the only toatsman to reach double figures with a total of 19. Moore did some excellent bowling to collect seven wickets for 12. In their second innings Kuku declared at 96 with six wickets down. Three batsmen, J. Horn (23), I. Horn (28) and Holder (31 retired) were largely responsible. College, in their second innings produced a dour 16, *the highest scorer being Travers, who knocked up five.
