In yesterday's report of a discussion at the Levin Borough Council's meeting on the contracting out of certain couneil work, it was stated that Cr. R. S. Antcliff had moved an amendment that tenders for the job again be called for in the Palmerston North as well as the local newspapers. It has since been pointed out that 'this amendment was moved by Cr. J. Miller, Cr. Antcliff being the mover of the original motion that the tenders in the hands of the eouncil ihe received and the low- 1 qst one accepted. '
