The Associated Press' Rome c'orrespondent says that delegates ta the eleven nation meeting of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Org'anisation agreed today that Europe has overcome the threat of famine but faces new dangers of trade bottlenecks aud food surpluses. The meeting is drafting a regionai report for the organisation's world conference in Washington next month. It was learned that the report will support the creation of an international commodity clearing house "to exchange vital food products among the producing and consuming nations.
