Enjoyable Coming-of-Age Party

To celebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter, Alice May, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Robinson entertained a large number of friends at a party held in the Weraroa Hall on Saturday evening. Receiving the guest? were Miss Robinson, who wore a draped white cloque evening frock, and Mrs. Robinson looking very smart in ice tlue crepe. The hall as-^ sumed a festival atmosphere when decorated wi.h streamers, balloons and apple blossom. A feature of the evening's entertainment were dances by John Elliott and Margaret Leask, pupils of the Jean Scott School of Dancing. The function was an outstanding success and thoroughly enjoyed. Wills, Miss D. Cleal, Mesdames Howard, Smith and Bryant (Manakau) , and Messrs C. Wills, R. Smith and F. Deegan. Visitors from Wellington inciuded Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Patterson, Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. W. O, Harvey and Mr. and Mrs. E. T. H. Robinson.
