War Memorial Scheme

(To the Editor) Sir, — It was with great surprise I read a letter in your columns signed "Progressive Ota,ki." Surely if this nom-de-plume is sincere and the writer is really concerned. about -our town, he or she could have attended the public meeting, heard the discussions and put forward the suggestions. That would have saved writing for the inforniation. Myself, I think it is well over six months since the carnival finished and about time things were on the move. Yours etc., "GET GOING." Otaki, Oct. 6.
