Mr. Roy Booth, Jnr., has returned to Otaki after a short stay in Eltham. Mr. W. Wilson, who is attached to the stable of Mr. M. Seal in Domain Road, is nursing an injured collarbone following a fall from High Tension during schooling operations on a recent morning. Mr. Leo Blanche, ' son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Blanche, who was taken to hospital following injuries received on the second day of the Otaki race meetihg, is now reported to be progressing very favourably. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Calwell, erstwhile residents of Otaki, plan to visit Australia, and expect to leave by the Wanganella on October 13. On arrival they will fly from , Sydney to Melbourne, and then on to Queensland.
