Caledonian Tennis Club's Annual Meeting
The annuai meeting of the Ca'edonian Tennis Club was held • in St. Andrew's Presbyterian "Hali this week, the report for the year being read by the secretary, Miss M. McCartney, and the statement of receipts and expenditure, by 1 the treasurer, Miss E. Hudson. The club faced the coming season | with two courts in good piaying I order, it was reported. It was agreed to paint the club 1 pavilion and prepare the groun'ds j for the opening day, which was ; fixed for Saturday, Oc.ober 8, and it was suggested that working bees should do this work on September 24 and October 1. Officers elected for the new season were: — Club captain: Mr. R. Blackburn; vice-captain: Miss P. Row, commitlee: Miss M. Brash and Messrs A. Ingram and J. Eilen; secretary: Miss M. McCartney; treasurers: "Miss . E. And'erson and Mr. G. Brown. It was agreed that the subscription for the year should be senior men £1, women 15s an'd juniors 5s. '
