Kuku Cricket Club Elects New Officers

Campbell; delegates " to asociation ; Messrs J. Horn and A: J. Lambert; coach: Mr. W. G. Benning; selecLor: Mi". H. Moore; c'ub and field captain: Mr. J. Horn; viee-c,aptain : Mr. W. Mudge; gear custodian: Mr. I. Hprn; hon. auditor: Mr. W. Neas. The club had experienced a Very successful season, said the president, Mr. J. G. Horn, in his annual report to the meeting. it had won the- junior championship in its first year of competition k cricket, while there was a good ' credit bglance with which tp eommenpe the new seaspn. Mr. Horn thanked other clubs in the competition for agreeing to play games at 10.30 .a-fii-, thqs assisting the club with its majority bf farmer members, the Levin Cricket Club for friendly games, Mr, W. G. Benning for- his help in coaching the team "and the fiadies of the, district for their a'skistance with afternoop teas and the successful dances he'd during the season to raise . funds.
