Bishop Holds Confirmation Service
At All Saints' Anglican Church on Sunday night the Rt. Rev. R. H. Owen, Bishop' of Wellington, conducted a confirmation service. The following 20 candidates- were admitted as full members of the Church: Donald Anderson, Leonard Bevan, Brian Bills, George Eaton, Graeme Hughes, Phyllis Arcus, Gilda Arcus, Isobel Carkeek, Vivienne Fogden, Joan Haigh,' Mary Hing, Veda Jepson, Julie Meagher, Alison Miles, Annabel Mudge, Patricia Price, Beverly Robertson, Shirley Smith, Judith Spiers and Marea Tahiwi. Following the service, parishioners met the Bishop and Mrs. Owen during a social half hour in the adjoining ihall.
