Ihakara W.I. Hears Talk On Spain
At the monthly meeting of the Ihakara Women's Institute a most interescing talk on Spain, illus-. trated with spaps and photographs, was given by Mrs. J. Corry. Two new members were nominated and eiected. Gifts for Corso and Levin Farm Christmas party are being received each mqnth. The winner of both social copipetitions was Mrs. Laing. Other competitions resulted as follows: — Prettiest vase: Mrs. Maleolm 1. ^ Hudson X , lylrs., Trotter 3. Leeks: Mrs. Trotter 1, Mrs. R. J. Ro'ston 2, Mrs. Hudson 3. Flowers: Mfsl Haslock 1, Mrs. Gardiner .2, Miss; Nalder 3. Shrubs; Mrs, Hall 1, Mbs. Mark 2, Mrs. Elliot 3.
