Otaki Golfers Play Bisque Bogey Match
The bisque bogey played by the Otaki Goif Club on Saturday resulted in E. Gray and B. Ryder each returning 3 up on bogey. Gray played a iround of 69. The final for the Dovey D'Ath Memorial Cup played between A. Harper and J. Winterburn resulted in a win for Winterburn 1 up. On Sunday the Otaki club visite'd Levin for the return match with the Levin club. For the first time in some years, Levin succeeded in defeating Otaki, the result being quite decisive. Levin won 17 singies to Otaki's 10 with two halved, and in the fourballs Levin won 10 to 4. E. Gray (Otaki), with a score of 71, estabiished a new record for the Levin course, the previous best score being 74. Resulis with Otaki players menfcioned first are: — Singies: E. Gray beat W.. G.
