Evatt in his capaeity as President of Fnited Nationa Creneral Asseinldy, asking for his protection and intervent ion in having the de)yortation orders against their husbands withdrawn. This menns they are apyiealing to Dr. Evatt direct and going over tlie liead of the Alinister^of Tmmigration, Afr. Calwell. Legal advisers will exaniine Ihe petition befnro it is forwarded to Dr. Evatt. The women intend__sending a cnpy to every meniber of United Nations who signed the Declarntion of TTu-man Rights.
