Two Cities Retaken From Bolivian Rebels
Received Monday, 11.35 a.m. LAPAZ, Sept. 4. Tlie Government announeed tonight that both Potosi and Sucre have been recaptured from the revolutionaries. The fall of the two cities lollowed a statement by the General Staff that "certain victory" was in sight for Bolivia's threatened middle-of-the-road Government. Sucre, whieh is the official eapital of Bolivia, was recaptured by loyal forces after a brief but bloody fight with its re'bel defenders. The .'oyal forces had driven a wedge between Sucre and Potosi, whieh lie 50 miles apart.
