Received Fridav 8.30 p.m. MFLBOTTRNE, Sept. 2. ■\ charge that the Commonwealth Government intended to give favoured treatment in _J_elevision contracts to Amalgamated. Wireless Australia Limited in which the Government held a cor.trolling interest was made by Electronic Industries Limited of Melbourne of which Mr A. G. Warner is managing director. The letter sent by the company to the Postmaster-General (Senator Cameron) accused the Government of favouring the other company irrespective of price and tlireatens to appeal to the High Court.' The letter charges that the specifications on .which tenders were caiJI ed for television- eYpiipment were insuffijcient to enable a eompetitivp qunte to j be tendered and demands the reissue of jthe request for teudors based upon pio•cise iuforpiatioa,
