The Czech Press alleged today in editions commemorating the tentfi anniversary of the outbreak of the second World Wai* that Britain, the United States and France were to blame for the wai* because they nourished that mad dog Hitier, who iacer turned and bit his masters. -There were'solemn ceremonies in Danzig today, where the first shots of the wai* were fired by a German warship against the Bolish forces beseiged on Westerplatts and in Warsaw. Siient proccssions wended their way all night through Victory Square to pay homage at the romb of Polands Unknown Warrior. In an Order of the Day commemorating the anniversary, the Po.ish Defence Minister, Marshal Symierski, dfeclared: "We shall not : forget that we owe our liberation to the heroic Russian Army." "Soviet Bore Burden." In Moscow the Soviet foreign affairs journal stated that the Soviet people bore the . • entire burden of the war against the German Fascist invaders. Not until it had become obvious that the Soviet Union was able by itself to achieve a decisive defeat of Hitlerite Germany did the Western Allies, fearing to find themselves outside the victory feast, enter into the military operations in Europe.
