Mr. Langstone As Labour Independent
AUCKLAND, August 28. Mr. Frank Langstone, M.P. for Roskill, who recently resigned from the Labour Party, has decided to contest the seat at the coming Generai Electiou as an independent Labour candidate. His decision is the answer to a petitiou signed by over 500 residents of • the electorate and was given at a meeting of the Boskill Independent Labour Party this afternoon. ; Mr. Langstone said he would vote with the Labour Government on a noconfidence motion with one exception— abolition of the Upper House.
