Martin, Vance Street, • Shannon, has returned home after 'a shorb visit to Wellington. Mrs. McEwan, Snr.,. and her daughter Mrs. Markland, left last week on a holiday visit to Nelson. Mrs. A. Martin and her daughter ' Colleen, and son Laurence, left yesterday for Hastings on two weeks' vacation. . ■ ■ Mr. and Mrs. Sha'rp, of Matamata, are at present the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sharp, of Ballance Street, Shannon. Mrs. F. Jamieson, of Kara Road, Shannon, is at present spending a holiday with her son, Mr. F.' Jamieson, of Morrinsville. Miss Staff and Mrs. Thompson, of the School teaching staff at Shannon, have left to spend the school holidays in Hastings and 1 Gisborne. - ■ ' J R.S.A. EfforL .
